Environmental Justice in Detroit: Past, Present and Future

We are so proud of the 7th graders at Detroit Achievement Academy who wrote, directed and produced the documentary film entitled Environmental Justice in Detroit: Past, Present and Future about the impact of housing discrimination and the environmental justice issues facing Detroit.

The project was inducted into EL Education’s Models of Excellence, an online database of high-quality work that is used by students and educations around the country. Check out their documentary film below!
